Restitution

Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye

Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye
Memory Verse: “And Zacchaeus stood, and said unto the Lord; Behold, Lord, the half of my goods I give to the poor; and if I have taken anything from any man by false accusation, I restore him fourfold.” Luke 19:8
Bible Passage: Luke 19:1-10.
Introduction
God’s commands are always in our best interest. Restitution is no exception. It enables us follow peace with all men and allows us to live holy lives. It is an act of putting things right and in good order, so that it will be well with us. It is divine restoration.
What Is Restitution?
RESTITUTION, we reiterate, is the act of putting right what is wrong and repairing or making good any loss. This is a very important step for every believer. The doctrine is common to all dispensations.
Dispensations
Restitution is not a new doctrine. It has been in practice even before the law. Moses gave certain laws of restitution, Lev.6: 1-6, 24:21; Num. 5: 6-8; Ex.22: 1-5. The doctrine was mainstream during the era of the kings and prophets, 2 Sam.12: 1-6; 2 Kgs. 8:1-6 right down to the Church age. Its continued acceptance during the life of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ was unbroken at the dawn of the new testament down the ages till today, Lk. 19:8-10; Philem. 1:7-12.
The Blessings of Restitution
Genuine restitution will ensure:
Favour from God, Lk.2: 52.
Speedy answers to prayers, Lk.11: 9.
Fearlessness, Ps.27: 1.
Healing, Ps.107: 20.
Anointing for exploits, Acts 10:38.
Protection, Ps.105: 15.
Heavenly provisions, Ps.132: 15-16.
As long as someone is hurting or suffering on account of our wrong acts, or omissions, we will experience delays, setbacks and come across obstacles. The hindrance holding us back is often caused by the wrong we committed even before salvation.
Conclusion
Restitution is an avenue to make your ways right with your fellow man, while salvation makes your ways right with God. One is not complete without the other. You cannot claim to love God and grievously offend man made in His image. This is consistent with the golden rule; Do unto others, as you want others to do unto you. We decree true deliverance and freedom into your life in Jesus name. God bless you.

Divine favour

By Pastor Enoch Adeboye   |   11 December 2016   |   4:30 am

Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye
Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye
Memory Verse: “And the angel came in unto her, and said, Hail, thou that art highly favoured, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women,” Luke 1:28. Bible Passage: Genesis 18:3-24
Introduction
Divine favour is being singled out by God for special treatment. It is at His exclusive and unquestionable bidding and pleasure. It means you have somehow found favour with Him against all odds. The natural laws and normal course of events are altered, cancelled or suspended just for you. You will either be pulled out of the line or your line will become unique and different from others. You will either standout or be outstanding.
Divine Favour
Divine favour is beholding the good side of God’s face and joy – Num.6:25-26. The Lord will make His face glow towards you and His countenance will be favourable towards your cause – Pro.16:15. It will dispel darkness and gloom and give you light, life and joy wrapped up in peace – Ps.30:5. He will affectionately wipe away your tears and give you fresh early morning Dew of Hermon. You will be preferred. It will pour out abundant mercy where required – Ps. 44:3. His unending grace will grant you all round victory – Songs 8:10. Divine Favour changes everything for good and is a great game changer. The rules of the game will be rewritten in your favour.

Conditions
Divine favour is never random. Always intentional. It is prayed in – Gen. 43:29; Num. 6:24-26; Ps. 31:16; Ps.67:1; Dan.9:17. Disobedience is always a great obstacle. – Ex.19:15; 1Jn. 3:22. We must be observant and discerning. Spiritually sensitive. Moses was called from the burning bush. He stopped. He observed. He listened with rapt attention. The Lord began to speak to him – Ex.3:3-4. Sometimes it is a covenant between the recipient’s forefathers and God – 2 Kings.13:23. Praises can instigate divine favour – Isa. 33:2. God’s presence always accompanies His favour – Jn.12:32; Ps.22:3; Jn.8:29; Acts 2:47. Outcome
Your age long foes and adversaries will clamour to sign a peace treaty with you and consummate a covenant of peace. Pro.16:7. Another result of divine favour is mercy. When God favours you, your impudence will be over looked – Gen.18:12-13. The same happened to David – 2 Sam.12:13. Divine favour restores lost grounds and restores lost hope – Jer.32:41-42. Above all, divine favour exalts the saints – Ps.89:17.
Conclusion
Ask for divine favour now. Pray that the Merciful One will not mark your iniquity. The blood of the Lamb will speak for you today and we will all be beneficiaries of divine favour in the mighty name of Jesus.

Destined to have dominion – Part 1

By Pastor Enoch Adeboye   |   04 December 2016   |   4:18 am
Pastor Enoch Adeboye
Pastor Enoch Adeboye
All power, authority and control is resident in the only One who has all might. It always has and will always be. The Almighty. The Lord of Hosts. The mighty One in battle. The Ancient of Days. The Holy One of Israel.
When He conceived man in eternity past, at the beginning of time, He, in exercise of His sovereignty, decided to grant man dominion. Full control and authority. In other words, man was made the dominant influence and power wherever he finds himself. You as a child of God and saint should have dominion right now. Everything should be working together for your good and in your best interest. Please believe this to be true. In faith, if in no other way. God said let us make man in our image… and in our likeness and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over cattle and over the entire universe. God went ahead and put His intention into full effect. With God there is no difference between His intention, thoughts and acts. And God commanded man to replenish the earth, multiply, be fruitful and subdue it, and have dominion (Genesis 1:26-28). The settled will and intention and plan of God will become operational and effective in your life in the mighty name of Jesus. And it was so. By the word of his mouth and the power of prophetic declaration, whatever man said or called or named came to pass.
Genesis 1:26
And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
Psalm 8:6 expressed it thus “…Thou made him to have dominion over the works of thy, hand… and put all things under his feet.

Genesis 1:28
And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.
We can be pardoned for thinking that we need a lot of money and influence and power and authority in this world to have dominion. Money, it is said, is an answer to all problems and things. That seems particularly true of some nations or places or cultures. These are places where intelligence, character, values, even righteousness become irrelevant in the face of stupendous wealth regardless of its source or how it was obtained. The operating principle is just the follow the money. Money talks. Powerfully. Authoritatively. Decisively. So, the template is the rich cannot be wrong and the poor cannot be right.
This scenario is too common for comfort. Yet the mind-set is in need of great deliverance and repentance. This is not dominion according to God’s word. It is wickedness, sin, short lived and can be dangerously fatal! Psalms 49:14 says,
Like sheep they are laid in the grave; death shall feed on them; and the upright shall have dominion over them in the morning; and their beauty shall consume in the grave from their dwelling.

prince of peace

Pastor Enoch Adeboye
Memory Verse: For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us; Ephesians 2:14
Bible Passage: Isaiah 9:6.
Introduction: The United Nations is in a perpetual search for universal peace among nations and an end to conflicts everywhere. However, the peace we are talking about here is much more than the mere absence of war. It is not surprising that peace cannot be instilled by an organisation or world body because wars and fighting come from the lust, greed, selfishness, covetousness, unforgiving and bitterness in the hearts of men, James 4:1-2. Men never have enough land, money, houses, territories or power. The competition for supremacy, domination and spoils of war is the root cause of virtually every conflict. They all emanate from the evil desires of men, who do not know Christ.
What Is Peace?
Peace is tranquillity, absence of war or other hostilities, harmony (harmonious relationships) inner contentment, a state of wellness, and cessation of hostility, love and a fruit of the Holy Spirit, Galatians 5:22.

The Prince Of Peace
In the natural fallen state, man is an enemy of God and an adversary of the Prince of Peace, Who came to restore peace between Man and God, Romans 5:8-10. And among men. Our Lord Jesus Christ is the only One that can bring peace on earth. And in the fullness of time, He will. With Him, you can even have peace in a storm, John 14:27. He gives peace beyond our human understanding. He speaks to storms and they are stilled. He can speak peace, but one has to abide in Him. 1Peter 5:14, Mark 4:39, John 14:27, Ephesians 2:14, 2Thessalonians 3:16, Ephesians 4:1-3, John 16:33, Philippians 4:6-7. Conclusion
Remember that storms do not give notice. An unexpected medical report, the sudden loss of a loved one, an accident that alters the life of the victim forever, a fire, an earthquake or other natural disasters are largely outside our control. We need the Prince of Peace in the boat of our lives before the storm. The life jackets and other palliatives of human help are grossly inadequate on the day of calamity and trouble. Inner peace can be elusive or stolen by the enemy and the lovers of gold are never satisfied with gold. You will follow peace with all men and be a carrier of peace, wherever you go in the mighty name of Jesus.

The everlasting father

Pastor Enoch Adeboye
Pastor Enoch Adeboye

Memory Verse: Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, be honour and glory forever and ever. Amen. — 1 Timothy 1:17.
Bible Passage: Isaiah 9:6
Introduction: The best of biological fathers are human and inherently weak and limited, regardless of their intension, passion, love and commitment. They will not be around forever. Many a biological father has had to helplessly watch his beloved child go through pain, trauma, confusion and stress. Some even wish they could take the place of the beloved child. Sometimes they watch their offspring pass on. Glory be to God the eternal Father, Who is never out of His depth or out of options. No situation is beyond Him.
Who Is A Father?First and foremost, a father is the source of life, contributing one half of the life producing equation. Genesis 9: 23, Genesis 26: 3, Genesis 26: 15, 18 and 24, Genesis 27: 18,26, Genesis 46: 5, Psalm 103: 13, Matthew 3: 9, Luke 3: 8. We all need fathers or father figures. Earthly fathers trained and disciplined us in the only way they knew how and we ought to respect and honour them, but they fall short and may fail us from time to time. The influence of human nature is never completely eliminated in their discipline and correction. Some might do it to advance their personal pride and interest, Hebrew 12:9-10. We should never stop honouring them.
The Everlasting Father“… you shall say to the children of Israel The Lord God of your fathers, the God of Abraham …Isaac…and Jacob… sent me to you…this is my name forever… my memorial to all generations, Exodus 3:15.”

He is the Father of fathers in eternity past, present and future. Nothing is too hard for Him. He is our ever-present help in the time of trouble. He has our very best interest at heart all the time. He has made all round provision for all needs, John 3:16. He is not subject to any limitation, Isaiah 9:6, Mathew 1:21-23, John 3:36, John 10:10, Philippians 2:9, Hebrews 12:2, Matthew 28:18, Revelation 3:7, Matthew 16:19. He, indeed, changed places with us. He took all our sorrow and shame. He died so we can live, became poor so we can be rich and took all our diseases on Himself, for by His stripes we were healed.
ConclusionJohn 3: 35-36. Would you not rather have Him as your Father? And live forever with Him in His kingdom? Job 22:21. He promised never to leave you or forsake you. Nothing will separate you from Him in the mighty name of Jesus.

Counsellor

Counsellor

Pastor Enoch Adeboye
Pastor Enoch Adeboye
Memory Verse: I counsel thee to buy… gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and… and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eye salve, that thou mayest see, Revelation 3:18.
Bible Passage: Isaiah 9:6

Introduction

A counsellor guides on options and choices available in any given problem and the consequences thereof. He steers towards a proper exercise of discretion and avoidance of error. There will always be multiple competing, mutually exclusive ways of dealing with an issue. Some options might appear right, attractive and reasonable or merely convenient, but it is only the Lord’s counsel that shall stand. The paradise of the Garden of Eden and the intimate relationship between God and man was lost as a result of Eve’s decision to choose Satan’s counsel over God’s simple admonition, Gen. 3:1-6. Jesus, at the start of His mission of restoration, was confronted by Satan with several options in Matthew 4:1-11, but Jesus rejected all and stuck to the written counsel of God.

The Counsellor
Jesus came to restore paradise lost. He counselled us on virtually every aspect of life. In Matthew 18:21-22, He counselled us on forgiveness. In Matthew 19:3-9, He counselled on divorce. In Luke 10:38-42, Jesus advised Martha on the need to get her life’s priorities right and in John 8:3-11, He counselled the woman caught in the very act of adultery. Jesus is the best counsellor. No one has all the answers to the questions of life. We all need counsel. Perfect Counsel
The Lord’s counsel is perfect. It is always consistent with the word written and the teaching of the Word made flesh, Ps. 33:11, Pro. 19:21. Consider the foolish counsel of Job’s wife in Job 2:9, the evil counsel of the spies in Numbers 13:30-32, the destructive counsel of Ahithophel in 2 Sam. 16:20-22. But the counsel of the Lord remains safe, sure and perfect – Proverbs 24:6, Revelation 3:18.
Conclusion
Please note that good counsel is not necessarily perfect counsel. We see in part and know in part and, therefore, we are quite limited by time, space and circumstances. Jesus is the Alpha and Omega, our ever-present help in time of trouble. We pray you will be humble enough to accept His counsel in faith, even when it does not make sense to the human or natural mind, reminding yourself that the “foolishness” of God is wiser than man. You will always accept the divine counsel of God in the mighty name of Jesus.--------------------------------------------------

The Almighty

Pastor Enoch Adeboye
Memory Verse: “I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, The Almighty,” Revelation 1: 8.

Bible Passage: Genesis 17:1-8

Introduction: The Almighty has all might and dominion. Besides Him, there is no other. The Lord of Host, He is eternal, unchangeable, invincible and possesses all powers in heaven and earth. ‘…And His name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The Mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace…” Isaiah 9:6 “…All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth…” Matthew 28: 18
His Might
• He is mighty to save, Luke 19:10. He rescues from danger, destruction and all enemies. He saves sinners, Acts 5:31. He cleanses from all sins, changes a heart of stone into a heart of flesh, sanctifies and empowers.
• He is mighty to empower, Psalm 62: 11. He demonstrates His power through human vessels. He told Moses to lift his hands and the red sea parted. In 1 Kings 17: 1 by the word of man, the heavens were closed. In Joshua 10, Joshua spoke and the sun and moon obeyed. The Almighty changes curses to blessings, 2 Kings 2: 19-22. He empowers, Ps.115: 3, 2 Kgs.13: 20-21.
• He delivers, Ps.91: 1, Ps.23: 5. He drowns enemies, Ex.14, deploys bombs against them – Joshua 10: 10-11, buries alive, Num.16: 31-33. Beheads evil people, 1 Sam. 17: 49-51, 2 Kings 1: 9-12, 2 Kings 6: 13-20, Esther 7: 10,

• He restores, Jeremiah 32: 27. In 2 Kings 5: 1-14, Naaman’ received hundred per cent brand new skin. He is the God of all flesh.
• Our God is mighty in love, Jn.3: 16, Jn. 15: 13. In 1 John 4: 8, He is Love Himself. In John 13: 1, and loves till the end.
• He is mighty in strength and wisdom, Job 36: 5.
Seek Him for:
Lasting encouragement, Gen.15: 1-6. Answered prayers, 1 Kgs.18: 43-44. Power and anointing, 2 Kgs.2: 9-10; Power belongs to God, Ps.62: 11. Answers, Jn.11: 41. Special revelations, Acts 7:55. Help and assistance, 1Sam.1: 9-11, 17. Protection and preservation – Ps.121: 4-7.
Conclusion
This mighty God is a very good Friend. He is the only Friend that can go through fire and the valley of the shadow of death with you. He is sovereign. God looks for people that will do His Will. On them, He will bestow His almightiness. You will serve Him with all your might in the mighty name of Jesus.------------------------------

wonderful

Wonderful!

Memory Verse: Who is like unto thee, O LORD, among the gods? Who is like thee, glorious in holiness, fearful in praises, doing wonders? Exodus 15:

Memory Verse: Who is like unto thee, O LORD, among the gods? Who is like thee, glorious in holiness, fearful in praises, doing wonders? Exodus 15:11.
Scripture: John 11:39-45
Introduction: – Isa.9:6 “…unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given… and the government shall be upon His shoulders…and His name shall be called Wonderful…” Jesus is FULL OF WONDERS!!! Wonder full. Expect awesome signs, miracles and wonders from the one called Wonderful. He will amaze you.
Wonders Of Jesus Christ
• Jesus Christ is the Custodian of wonders, pleasant and unpleasant. A good example is the parting and crossing of the Red Sea in Exodus 14:21-30, He revealed Himself both to the Israelites and the Egyptians, as One full of wonders in different ways.
• His name is wonderful, Phil.2: 9-11. He answers prayers.
• His love is wonderful, John 3:16, Jn.15: 13.
• His peace is wonderful, Phil.4:7. His peace passes all understanding, Jn.14:27.
• His power is wonderful, Matt.28: 18, Matt.8: 14-15, Mk.1: 23-26.
• His works are wonderful, Ps. 111:4.
• He is a wonderful friend, Jn.15:13. The best business partner you could possibly imagine,

adeboye-rccgg

Memory Verse – 1 Corinthians 11:25, After the same mann

Lk.5:1-7.
• He is a wonderful physician, Jn.11: 40-45. He heals, repairs, restores, recreates, resurrects wonderfully.

Be A Partaker
• Be born again, Jn.3: 3, Heb.12: 14.
• Confess Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour, Matt.10: 32-34.
• Repent
• Restitute
• Be holy, 1 Pet.1:16, Rom.12: 1, 1 Pet.1:15.
• Be obedient, 2 Cor.10:5-6. Disobedience is witchcraft, 1 Sam.15: 23.
• Live by faith, Heb.11:6.
• Overcome all obstacles as Zacchaeus did, Lk.19: 4-8.
• Ask to receive, Matt.7:7, Ps.50:15, Jer.33:3.
• Follow Jesus Christ all the way, Matt.10:38, Matt.16:24.
• Be expectant, Heb.11:1.
• Be a worshipper, Jn.4:23-24. Conclusion
We all need to experience the supernatural and we can, if we make up our mind to give what it takes. And Stephen full of faith and power, did great wonders….among the people – Acts 6:8. Elijah was a man of like passion, a human being like you and I and he prayed and closed the heavens for three and a half years and he prayed again and opened the heavens, James 5:17-18. The key is faith, which will generate power, which will work signs and wonders. The last word is the promise of Jesus, the Truth, said he that believes Him will do everything He did and even do greater works, John 14:12 Believe Him today and you shall not only behold wonders, but will also perform wonders in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.

All round prosperity

All r

Pastor Enoch Adeboye
Pastor Enoch Adeboye
All round prosperity

Memory Verse: Proverbs 22:1. A good name to be chosen… than great riches….
Bible Passage: Job 5:19-27
Introduction: Prosperity is not inconsistent with Christian living. Poverty is not a precondition for righteousness. Covetousness and contentment are mutually exclusive. The problem is getting the priority right, holding godly principles sacrosanct and mastering wealth rather than be mastered by mammon. God actually has pleasure in the prosperity of His servants, Ps.35: 27.
True Prosperity
Proverbs 22: 4 – by humility and fear of the Lord are riches, honour and life. True prosperity is different from the quantum, net worth and the currency of a person’s holding. The ways, means and conduct are more important. There is no short cut, quick-fix and overnight means of prospering in the Lord. There will always be a period of sacrificial sowing, nurturing and patient waiting on the Lord. The key is contentment…1 Tim. 6: 6-contetentment with …godliness is great gain, for we brought nothing into this world and can take nothing out. Once we have something to eat and wear, let us be grateful, while we engage in honest and godly pursuits in the long term, God is the source of all-round prosperity, Ps.23: 1.
can bless with gold, silver, power etc., Hag.2: 8; Ps.62: 11 Ps.92: 12-15. And with good, perfect health and long life, Dt.8: 18. 1 Chr.29: 11-12. Spiritual prosperity and delayed gratification is the pivot and health is wealth.
Keys To Prosperity
Kingdom principles
• Ignorance, Hos.4: 6. Seek biblical teaching on wealth creation and acquisition with emphasis on fear of the Lord and compassion for mankind.
Generosity, Lk.6: 38; 2 Cor.8: 1-7; Eccl.1: 7; Pro.3: 9-10; Lk.5: 1-11; 2 Chro.1: 6-13. Giving opens the heavens, Joel 2:23-24.
• Diligent Obedience of God, Mal.3: 8-12; Pro.22: 29; Pro.10: 4-6.
Qualification
All-round prosperity is a total package of benefits that Jesus Christ obtained and handed over to us right from the cross, Ps.23: 1; Phil.4: 19; Jn.3: 1-7; Lk.19: 1-10; 2 Cor.5: 17; Jn.15: 1-16. Holiness is the watchword. Purity is non-negotiable, Ps.37: 29; Ps.36: 8; Josh.1: 8; Is.3: 8; Ps.5: 12; Ps.115: 13-15; Job 36: 8. You must also be willing to get out of poverty, Is.1: 19; Ps.107: 9; Ps.2: 8.
Conclusion
There is no better way to all-round prosperity than through Jesus Christ, Jn.14: 6. Whosoever does not have Him is poor spiritually and most miserable, Rev. 3:15-17. Some hoard what they have and become poorer, while others give and become richer. Give your life to Jesus today. He will meet your needs today in Jesus name, Jn.3: 3-16; Eph.3: 3-7; Lk.19: 1-10; 1 Sam.1: 9-20.

The New Testament in His Blood

The New Testament in His Blood

By Pastor Enoch Adeboye   |   05 June 2016   |   1:48 am

Memory Verse – 1 Corinthians 11:25, After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, This cup is the New Testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me.
Bible Passage: 1 Cor. 11:23-26.
Introduction
Testament here means covenant. A covenant creates an extremely powerful obligation, Is. 54:10. God will stand by His covenant with you and can even nullify evil covenants, Is. 28:14-18. A covenant is always sealed with blood. When Jesus shed His blood, He provided a means for us to enter into a new covenant with Him, while at the same time releasing us from the old. Holy Communion creates a new covenant between you and God.
Implication
There was, indeed, an old covenant between God and Abraham and his descendants, Gen. 17:9-14. Jesus created a new covenant with His Body, His bride, and His church. The implications include:
• The Christian enjoys forgiveness of all sins, 1 John 1:7.
• The Christian can enjoy total healing, 1 Pt. 2:24.
• Christians overcame the devil by the blood of the Lamb, Rev. 12:11. We can enjoy victory in all phases and spheres of life.
• Christians enjoy abundant supplies, 2 Cor. 8: 9, Phil. 4:19.
• Christians enjoy peace, John 14:27, Jn. 20:19, 21, 26.
• The Christian becomes a citizen of Heaven, Eph. 2:11-13; Rom.8: 15.
• Christians can now enter into the inner chamber of God Heb., 10:19-20.
Your Own Part
Jesus said in John 14: 21, 23 that if you want to stay in His covenant, you should obey His commandments and both He and His Father would pay you a visit. In 1 John 3: 16, He said since He laid down His life for you, you too should lay down your life for the brethren, Jn. 15:12-14. Go into the world and bring more people into the new covenant, a covenant of life that rescues from death, Mk. 16:15-20.
Conclusion
Blessings in the covenant with Jesus Christ are numerous, as long as you play your own part of the covenant. However, failure to live according to the terms of the new covenant can also have serious implications. It can be very dangerous for sinners to take the Holy Communion. Some fall seriously ill, while others actually pay the ultimate price. You will eat and drink to good health and long life in the mighty name of Jesus.

The blessings of a meal

The blessings of a meal

By Pastor Enoch Adeboye   |   29 May 2016   |   3:46 am
Memory Verse: Exodus 12:17 – ye shall observe the feast of unleavened bread; for in this self-same day have I brought your armies out of the land of Egypt: therefore shall ye observe this day in your generations forever.
Bible Passage: Luke 22:19-20
Introduction: After the children of Israel ate the Passover meal, they received irreversible blessings. These blessings are also available to us, if we partake of the Lord’s Supper worthily. It is a meal like no other.
The Blessings
• Victory – Soon after the Passover meal, Moses said in Ex. 14:13 that Israel will never see its enemies again, forever. After Jesus Christ shed His blood, we overcame Satan and all its agents, Rev. 12:11. Our victory becomes irreversible.
• Deliverance – After the Passover meal, the deliverance of the children of Israel became irreversible, Ex. 14:27-28; Ex. 15:9-11. Jesus destroyed the power of death, sin, and delivered all from power of Satan, Heb. 2:14-15. Death became a horse we ride into glory. Our deliverance is complete and irreversible because He shed His blood.
• Divine Health – A whole nation was healed in an instant after the Passover meal, Ps. 107:37; 1 Pt. 2:24. And so shall it be with you.
• Prosperity – After the Passover meal, their prosperity became irreversible, Ex. 12:35-36. Jesus became poor that we might be rich – 2 Cor. 8:9.
• Fruitfulness – After the Passover meal, Israel’s fruitfulness became irreversible. We also can become productive and fruitful branches of the True Vine, Jn. 15:5.
• Breakthrough – After the Passover meal, the breakthrough of Israel became irreversible, Ex. 14:21-22. A way appeared where there was none. When Jesus shed His blood, our breakthrough became irreversible, Jn. 14:6; Heb. 10:19-20.
Why So Many Blessings From Just One Meal?
So we can serve God with joy. Ex. 8:1. Matthew 6:33 says we should seek first His Kingdom and His righteousness and all other things would be added. In 1 Kgs. 17:8-24, the widow of Zarephath sang many new songs because she put God first. Honour God with the first fruit of your increase.
Conclusion
When you take the Lord’s Supper, your victory, deliverance, divine health, prosperity, fruitfulness and breakthrough become irreversible. You will be a regular partaker of this awesome meal and enjoy great blessings therefrom in the mighty name of Jesus.

Memory Verse: Psalm 107:20 – He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.
Bible Passage: 1 Corinthians 11:23-25
Introduction
The Lord’s Supper is probably the only “drug” Jesus prescribed for healing. The Lord’s Supper, also known as The Holy Communion, heals physically, emotionally and spiritually. It is a deep communion with the great Physician, the Great Provider and the Great Deliverer. It took place at night.
Divine Transplants
When an organ in the body goes bad, doctors might recommend a transplant. God started it all – Eze. 36:26; Jer.32: 39; Heb.10: 16. God promised us a new heart. We need a compassionate good heart of flesh to replace the stone-hard and wicked heart of sinful man. The crucifixion of Christ made a new heart of flesh available – Rom. 11:16-18. The Holy Communion is a transfusion that flushes out all impurities and foreign harmful organisms from our system.
A Service Of Remembrance
Twice in our Bible passage, Jesus asked us to do this in remembrance of Him. We should remember the direct consequences of making contact with Jesus in the past.
A few examples:
• Matt. 8:1-3 – a leper was healed, when Jesus touched him.
• John 9:1-7 – a man born blind was healed, when Jesus touched his eyes with mud.
• Mark 5:35-42 – Jesus took the daughter of Jairus by the hand and she was raised from the dead.
• Luke 7:11-16 – Jesus touched the pier carrying the dead son of the widow of Nain and he was raised from the dead.
As you take the Lord’s Supper, every incurable disease will disappear, everything dead and wasted will come alive, and joy will replace sorrow. Death will give way to life. Light will dispel darkness. Abundance will drive out lack. In short, the contact will bring all round victory and prosperity in the precious name of Jesus.
Conclusion
Jesus wants you to remember the invitation He gave in John 7:37-39 that any man that thirsts should come to Him and drink from the well of life. All those who drink in faith, out of their bellies shall flow rivers of living waters. Whatever He has done before, He can do again. He does not change – Heb. 13:8. Commune often and be renewed and refreshed in body, soul and spirit in Jesus’ name.

follow -up

Follow-up

Memory Verse: Acts 15:36 – And some days after Paul said unto Barnabas, Let us go again and visit our brethren in every city where we have preached the word of the Lord and see how they do.
Bible Passages:Acts 15:35-41; 13:1-4; 14:19-22
Introduction: In the most literal sense and within the context of Christian discipleship, follow-up means following up, nurturing, caring and teaching a new believer the ways and doctrine of his new faith. This is as important and sensitive as the maternal instinct of protecting and caring for a newborn baby. It is an intense passionate life-preserving skill. Neglect in both cases will, at the very least, result in having a malnourished or deformed adolescent or in extreme cases avoidable fatality. It takes a lot of prayer, time, insights and patience. No two souls are exactly the same.
How
Absolute attention must be paid to the spiritual growth and maturity of the new convert. Paul and Barnabas provide us with a proper framework in Acts 15. The fundamental principles and doctrine of the new faith must be thoroughly and carefully taught. These principles must be modelled in the teacher’s life. Legitimate desires might have to be sacrificed because it might confuse the young believer. Apostle Paul had to give up meat, 1 Cor.8: 13. The survival and growth of the new convert must be given the highest priority. The biological age, academic qualification, intelligence, and economic status don’t make any difference, but can get in the way, Acts 14:19-22; Matt.28: 19-20.
Why?
i. It is the Holy Spirit’s way, Acts 13:2-4; Acts 15:28.
ii. It is the way of discipleship, Acts 14:21-22; Matt.28: 19-20.
Iii. It weans babes from milk, 1 Pt.2: 2,
Guidelines:
Prayer and quiet time must come up early coupled with teaching on peace, holiness and self-sacrifice. Humility, baptism in the Holy Spirit, the fruit of the Spirit, the written Word, evangelism, building and making the kingdom should be emphasised. Consecration and sanctification must be the overriding objective.
Rom.1: 8-13; Acts 15:36; Acts 14:21-22. 2 Cor.5: 15-17; Gal.2: 20; Gal.2: 10-14; Eph.2: 8-10; Acts 14:21-22; Acts 6:4a
Conclusion
Remember that Christ Himself declared, “I will build my church and the gates of hell shall not prevail.” You can be His Co-labourer and partner in this awesome project. You can be a wise master builder. Shamelessly and wisely divining the word of truth. Be gender sensitive, employ godly wisdom and common sense and be spirit led and you will receive a great reward and commendation here on earth and in heaven in the mighty name of Jesus.

Keep walking

Keep walking

By Pastor Enoch Adeboye   |   08 May 2016   |   3:58 am

Memory Verse: “And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not,” Galatians 6:9.
Scripture: 1 Thessalonians 4:1-8.

Introduction;Christians are pilgrims. Pilgrims never stop moving. It can be long, lonely journey. You need God. With Him on your side, you will arrive.
Hints
Learn from the mistakes of others. (I Corinthians 10:5-12).
• Listen to the advice of elders, Job 32:7.
• Avoid slippery grounds and unholy company, Ps. 1:1, Amos 3:3, Prov. 21:16.
• Do not look back, Phil.3: 13-14.
• Avoid overconfidence. Anyone can fall, I Cor.10: 12. King David committed adultery, when he stayed at home instead of being in the war front, 2 Sam.11: 1-2.
Be Consistent
• Walking consistently keeps you on schedule – lethargy is more dangerous than many realise.
A famine did not stop Isaac from sowing, Gen. 26:12. Neither did a bountiful harvest. He was diligently persistent, Gen. 26:13. Soon he became the envy of a nation, Gen. 26:14.
Load your cloud consistently and you will have a great downpour, Eccl. 11:3; I Kings 18: 41-46, Gal. 6:9-10.
In contrast, those who slow down slowly become relics. Demas, Paul’s Co-labourer, Philm. 1:24 and Luke’s, (the beloved physician,) colleague, Col. 4:14 stopped walking and ended up as no more than a foot note in history. The sons of the prophets in the era of Elijah and Elisha knew something historic was about to happen, stopped at Jordan, while Elisha pressed on with Elijah, 2 Kings 2:5-8. They saw a major miracle happen, but they were not part of it Elijah, 2 Kings 2:9-14. But were mere spectators.
• The sons of the prophets were sons of the prophets before the “rapture” of Elijah; they remained sons of the prophet after the event, while Elisha moved on to become “the prophet.” There were many sons of the prophet but only one Elisha, 2 Kings 2:15a.
Conclusion
Give a good account of every moment of every day, take stock, pray, adjust and it will surprise you how much, by His grace, you have accomplished. You will arrive in the mighty name of Jesus. God bless you.
